Week 16 Verizon's New Phone Comes Out

The new Samsung Galaxy Nexus comes out tomorrow. Apparently this is a big deal. It's price is 299.99 which is a little much for me. They don't have much on why it's such a big deal. It's probably going to be like all the other Android phones.

Week 15 iPad Loses Sales

iPad sales are lower than expected in December. Many believe this is due to the Fire and other inexpenxive tabelets. Apple overcharges for the iPad anyway. It may offer more than the Fire but its almost three times the price. No thanks Apple, I'm getting the Fire for xmas!

Week 14 Netflix Loses Bigtime

Since Netflix decided to raise its prices earlier this year, they have lost 11 million customers. They said the price raises were necessary, it looks like a mistake now. It is reported that they will lose $100 million next year. Yikes! Good job guys.

Week 13 Black Friday Online Sales Leap 26%

U.S. shoppers spent a whopping $826 million this year online. That's 26% more than last year. I think this may be due to rediculous lines and how dangerous stores on Black Friday have become. It just seems easier to do it online. You can get just as good of deals by sitting on an online waitlist at your house.

Week 12 Another Battery Related Update for the iPhone

Apple just can't get it right. Another updated is coming out for t iPhone. Hopefully for all you iPhone users this one works. My Android works just fine :)

Week 11 Hard Disk Shortage?

Apparently there is a huge shortage on Hard disks. Reports say that we could run out as soon as the end of November. This is due to severe flooding in Thailand where half of HDD's are made. Orders have gone out for about 180 million HDDs for next quarter and only 100-120 million will ship out. I havn't even heard anything about this until now. They also say there is no solution in sight. What will we do without HDD's!?! Better go buy new CPU's now while you still can.

Week 10 iPhones Battery Sucks!

Due to the new iOS 5, iPhone battery life has been "lower-than-expected" according to Apple. They say they are trying to find the bug and fix it. Gotta love Smartphone battery life. I couldn't imagine that my battery life was even shorter than now.

Week 9 Bing and Firefox together!

For all you Mozilla users, Bing will now be the default with Firefox. Apparently Google wanted too much to renew its search deal with Mozilla as this deal comes only a few weeks before the Google deal is up. I'm not big on Bing myself but if Google is getting greedy I guess they get what they deserve

Week 8 Google Music Beta

Google plans to launch an MP3 store. From everything I've read it looks like an iTunes type thing. I love anything that competes with apple. Go Google!!!

Week 7 Sony Hacked Again!!!!

Hackers have it out for Sony again. These guys must be Xbox people. Around 93,000 accounts were locked down due to hacking. Hackers were able to get log in and passwords but no credit card info. Sony is going to send out emails to those effected. Hopefully I don't get one!!!!

Week 6 iPhone 5 comes out...wait what?

So instead of giving us the much anticipated iPhone 5, Apple comes out with the 4S instead. Apparently it's just a software upgrade that allows the iPhone to take and act on spoken orders. The software is the Siri virtual assitant. My wife got an iPhone 4 last month, I told her to wait until October not so she could get the iPhone 5, just so she could get the 4 cheaper. I'm pretty sure the basic 4 will still be cheaper. Women never want to listen to men though!

Week 5 Kindle Unveils the Kindle Fire

Amazon's CEO Jeff Bezos unveils a new tablet called the Kindle Fire. It doesn't have all of the features as the Ipad and it's half the size. But its low price (only $200 compared to the rediculousness of the Ipad) will steal a lot of sales. I hope someone knocks Apple down a notch.

Week 4 PlayStation Network Down Again

PlayStation Network is down yet again. Earlier this year it was down for a month, I go to log in today and I see this. Sony says they are hard at work to fix an unknown error, but I've heard that one before. Hopefully it's not another hacking issue. I love PlayStation and the fact that PSN is free but this is getting a little ridiculous. Time to switch to Xbox and Xbox live???? Not yet. 

Week 3 YouTube adds built in Video Editor

YouTube has added a new feature allowing users to update thier videos after uploading them. It allows for basic quick fixes without having to upload a whole new video. Now users can get rid of extra footage at the begginning or end of a video with ease!

Week 2 Dead Island Comes Out

Dead Island is a new zombie game coming out on the 7th for PS3 and 360. It's set on a vactation island, sucks for whoever had to pay for that luxery getaway lol. I love FPS and zombie games, this just so happens to be both. It allows 4 player Co-op and the graphics look pretty good. Whats more fun than killing a bunch of zombies?

Week 1 Steve Jobs Steps Down

Steve Jobs stepped down this week. I think Apple will still run fine without him. They have too many popular products not to.
